Sir Duplechan

Executive Director/ Founder

Sir is the Founder and Director of I Am Love. He wholeheartedly believes that Love, as defined in the Love Oath, is the solution to many of society's problems. I Am Love has launched the High Desert Love Movement to change detrimental social norms. The Love Movement is youth-driven. He facilitates the Dream Catchers youth empowerment de-program.

He is a founding member of the High Desert Black Workers Center, where he trains people on how to advocate for long-term, widespread, equitable change. Working with residents, businesses, and government to ensure equitable solutions are derived for some of society’s most complex problems. He works to bring just transition to the High Desert region by transforming its prime economic sector (transportation, distribution, and logistics) from an extractive system of low-quality jobs and dependence on the carbon economy into a regenerative system of high-quality jobs that build worker power, equitably redistribute wealth, and anchor an environmentally just economy.

Sir is the owner of Sensible Spender Marketing firm, the President of the Black Chamber of Commerce, and Board President of Family Assistance Program. Community Health Action Network and a member of a host of community organizations. He is active in his Church World Faith Vision. Sir brings a lifetime of experience and a diverse background, which makes him uniquely qualified to serve as an intermediary between grassroots and grass-tops. Most importantly, Sir brings a passion for the people. A love that is selfless and a work ethic that never quits.

Ashley Duplechan

Board Member

Ashley Duplechan is a dedicated childcare provider with six years of experience, specializing in creating nurturing and supportive environments for children. She previously served as the manager of Fallas Department Store in Victorville and Barstow, where she honed her leadership and management skills over a three-year tenure. Ashley has a passion for youth development, having led numerous youth groups in dance and creative arts, inspiring creativity and self-expression. In addition, she has mentored many young women through church and community service, guiding them toward personal growth and empowerment.

Crystal Robinson

Board Member

Crystal Robinson is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over a decade of experience. Currently serving as the Talent Acquisition and People Experience Manager at Western University of Health Sciences. Mrs. Robinson holds both a bachelor’s and an M.B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing, and is a SHRM Certified Professional, underscoring her dedication to HR best practices. Crystal is a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, a community-conscious, action-oriented organization. She is actively involved in community service and advocates for the advancement of underserved communities. Mrs. Robinson is passionate about making a meaningful impact and fostering equitable opportunities for all. Crystal is motivated to create a legacy of acceptance, respect, excellence, and love in all she does.

Greg Wilson

Board Member

With a wide variance of both personal and professional experience, Greg continues to be a liaison for the House and Ballroom community, being a bridge by assisting with access to resources and services in the community. In the 18 years that Greg has worked in public health field, he has linked thousands of people into HIV treatment as well as other needed services to include housing, mental health services, PrEP programs and substance abuse treatment.

Greg also facilitated grass roots Interventions and helps to educate, motivate and mobilize young black gay men. A published author of book ‘Metamorphosis of a Heart’, Wilson served as co-chair of The Department of Mental Health’s LGBTQI2-S UsCC Sub-Committee, Co-Chaired The Los Angeles County Commission on HIV’s Black/African American Community Taskforce, Co-Chairs The Los Angeles County Commission on HIV’s Prevention Planning Workgroup.

Greg Wilson (he/him), Chief Project Officer, is a 41-year-old Community activist who has dedicated his life to addressing the issues that disproportionately impact Black and Black Gay Men in Los Angeles County. Greg is a LEGEND in the House and Ballroom scene, having participated and advocated for the sub-culture since 2001. Greg has produced numerous Balls for the House and Ballroom Community to include the annual and nationally-known Ovahness Ball with REACH LA in Los Angeles for 10 years.

Cornelious C.J. Page

Board Member

Cornelious Page Jr., (also known as “C.J.”) is the founder and Executive Director of Community Health Action Network (CHAN). C.J. has served the community for over 10 years in ongoing efforts to address the health disparities that exist among minority residents. He worked to provide health education and community services to well over 1,500 families in the High Desert and Central Valley region of San Bernardino County.

Mr. Page is a member of the African American Health Initiative (AAHI), East Valley Collaborative, High Desert Community Coalitions (HDCC) and the California Injury Prevention Network (CIPN). He sits on several boards within the community, such as: Adelanto Community Recreation Center (ACRC), Obesity Task Force - St. Joseph Medical Center, Healthy Victorville and Healthy Hesperia and Victor Valley Family Resource Center Transitional Homes. In early 2009, he became certified as a facilitator for car seat safety training and installation by Safe Kids Worldwide in collaboration with the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA). He received numerous commendations from San Bernardino County Supervisors and US Congresspersons in recognition of his sustained commitment to community health.

Zechariah Murray

Board Member

Mr. Zechariah Murray has been changing lives in education for over 23 years. Mr. Murray is currently a science and engineering teacher and MESA advisor. Mr. Murray motivates students to understand the world around them through weekly investigations and labs. Mr. Murray also teaches students to write code, build robots, and compete in engineering competitions as well as many other STEM challenges. Mr. Murray currently holds a master's degree in education and is pursuing his PhD in urban studies.
