High Desert Candidate Forum part 1
Non-Profits Unite for Multi-Level Government Candidate Forums Focused on Housing
Hesperia, CA – In response to the importance and scale of the upcoming elections, several local non-profits (or should I write Victor Valley Family Resource Center, CHAN, I Am Love, and Family Assistance) are joining forces to host two Multi-Level Government Candidate Forums. These events are designed to provide the community with a unique opportunity to hear from candidates across all levels of government who are running to represent the High Desert.
Recognizing the critical nature of this election, the forums have been divided into two separate events to ensure thorough discussion and engagement. The primary focus of both forums will be on housing, a key issue for our community. Attendees will have ample opportunity to ask questions and hear directly from the candidates on how they plan to address this pressing concern.
The forums will be held at the Victor Valley Family Resource Center, located at 16000 Yucca Avenue in Hesperia. Both events will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Our Master of Ceremonies will be Regina Bell Witherspoon. Attendees can enjoy complimentary food and drinks, making these forums accessible and welcoming to all.
The first forum is scheduled for Thursday, September 19th, followed by the second on Thursday, September 26th. This is an opportunity for the community to move beyond party affiliations and focus on selecting candidates who truly align with the vision for the High Desert.
Join us in these crucial discussions and help shape the future of our community.
