Extraordinary People Award Delivery
About the event
This is one of our favorite ways to spread love throughout the High Desert. We encourage loved ones to nominate people they witness showing selfless love to receive an Extraordinary People Award.
The award says you were witnessed committing a selfless act of kindness. Although you were not seeking recognition or accolades we want to say thank you.
This recognition encourages people to be even more kind because it reminds us that someone is always watching.
What will volunteers do?
We will go to the homes or places of employment of people who were selected as Extraordinary people to surprise them with an I Am Love Extraordinary People Award and balloons. Someone will present the Award, another person will record the video, and if a third person is present they will give the balloons.
We will carpool with whichever volunteers would like to drive. If you do not feel comfortable please feel free to caravan.
What will volunteers need to bring or wear?
Business Casual, (Remember, we will be recording).
What should volunteers know about the location?
Victorville Park and Ride. Across the street from Valero gas station. Cross streets are Amargosa and Bear Valley Rd.
Love Tokens Details
Each Volunteer will receive 10 Love Tokens.
Please Complete a Volunteer Waiver and Release of Liability form before volunteering.
